Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 26, 2026

Ballow & Lynde PLLC ("we," "our," or "the firm") operates ballowlynde.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you submit a contact form, request a consultation, or use the footer case-evaluation form, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, and a description of your legal situation. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. Submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our server logs record basic technical data when you visit. Your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to understand how the site is used and to diagnose technical issues.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, improve the website, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Form submissions. Contact and case-evaluation forms are processed through Web3Forms, a third-party form handling service. When you submit a form, your information is transmitted through their servers to deliver it to us. Their privacy policy governs their handling of that data.

Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may collect technical data (such as your IP address) when fonts are requested. See Google's privacy policy for details.

Analytics. Pageview data is sent to Google Analytics 4. See the Analytics section below for full details.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. It does not load the Google Analytics JavaScript library (gtag.js) or any similar tracking scripts that set cookies.

Analytics

This website uses a lightweight, first-party implementation of Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WLDMNWNG1D) to understand how the site is used; for example, which pages are visited most and how visitors find the site. When you load a page, a small script sends basic pageview data (the page URL, page title, referrer, screen size, and browser language) directly to Google Analytics using your browser's built-in beacon mechanism. No Google Analytics cookies are set, and the full Google Analytics JavaScript library is not loaded.

To maintain consistent analytics across visits, the script stores an anonymous, randomly generated identifier in your browser's local storage and a session identifier in session storage. These are not cookies and are not shared with advertisers. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings. Google's use of the data it receives is governed by Google's privacy policy .

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

External Links

This site contains links to external websites; courts, government agencies, and legal resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using this website or submitting a form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send confidential information through this website. An attorney-client relationship is established only through a signed engagement letter.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
